Merredin

Located at the crossroads of five Wheatbelt Self-Drive road trips, Merredin is a comfortable 2.5 hrs drive east of Perth and 3.5 hrs west of Kalgoorlie, following the National Trust WA’s epic Golden Pipeline Heritage Trail from Mundaring, and the Public Silo Trail from Northam along the Great Eastern Highway. Alternatively, through Toodyay along the Pioneers’ Pathway is quieter, less travelled sealed roads, following the early pioneers’ stories in each town.
